Montessori Community Summit
Start Date: 10/6/2012Start Time: 1:00 PM
End Date: 10/6/2012End Time: 5:00 PM

Event Description
Over 100 years ago, in faraway Italy, a young doctor started a revolution in education…Maria Montessori. Montessori schools are now embraced in 110 countries and are a model for educational success. The Montessori Method is sequential to the development of children worldwide.

We invite you to join us for an afternoon with Trevor Eissler, author of Montessori Madness. Trevor is a business jet pilot, flight instructor, father of three and international speaker on the Montessori method.

Montessori Madness! A Parent to Parent Argument for Montessori Education asks parents to take a look — one 30-minute observation — at a Montessori school. Your picture of education will never be the same! Eissler states, “I drop my kids off at school in the mornings and breathe a sigh of relief — not only because the decibel level in the car just dropped significantly, but because I know that although they are not at home, they are in the next-best place.”
